MITBoston is known to many as the cradle of liberty. It is one of America's oldest cities, and today it is considered a blend of the old and the new. Alongside skyscrapers and one of the widest cable bridges in the world there rests reminders of our colonial heritage. Across the Charles River from Boston lies Cambridge, home to America's oldest university.

This year the festival is located at the Massacusetts Institue of Technology and the Zero Arrow Theatre, part of Harvard University's American Repertory Theatre in Cambridge.

How to Get to and around Boston:

Planes, Trains, and Automobiles

Getting to Boston is easy. The city is highly accessible by planes, trains, buses, and automobiles.

Logan AirportFor your convenience, we have a Boston Tango Festival Travel Agent who can help you find the best airfare and accommodation so you can focus on what's most important, remembering to bring your dance shoes. You can contact Natasha at Academic travel via email actravel@gis.net, or by calling 617-566-5272. Natasha can also arrange tours of Boston, Cape Cod, etc. Visit her website.

South StationFor those of you who choose to commute by land rather than by air, Amtrak and Greyhound arrive into South Station, where the Red Line Subway can take you to almost anywhere you need to go. There are also inexpensive independent buses arriving in Boston's Chinatown - check online to find schedules. Boston's subways and buses are one of the safest in the nation. Venues of the Festival are conveniently located near Red Line subway trains, and several local bus lines.

Once you are in town, you can get around either by Subway & Bus (click on MBTA to go to the "MBTA" website), by cab, or through special livery service provided by Elias Transportation

For dependable transport, call Elias at 617-680-0870.
